Great for experimentation at a SUPER
reasonable cost. If you price these you can see how expensive this type of
material can be especially if you are unsure about what your needs are.

These come without a plastic covering on each
side. They came in from an art show and were used to cover artwork and are
high quality. Hence, they may have a small scratch or blemish of some minor
kind on them somewhere from handling but nothing that is not going to
interfere with the overall performance of the piece.

These are made of an acrylic, plexiglas,
lexan, or a similar plastic material. The exact material is unknown.

You can cover your solar panels or thermal
panels or perfect for a back sheet for either.

Build a prototype, test it then scale it to
you needs.

Depending on your application we'd suggest
trying these first, as they are super easy to work with. You may eventually
discover that you really need glass or some specific thickness. Until you
know specifically what material you need (glass, plexi, plastic, lexan,
acrylic, or tempered glass) this can allow you to complete your design.

We are offering these as a courtesy to our
customers as we know this is right along the lines of what we expect you'll
want to be experimenting with and this is a great way to get going and gain
some experience working with this type of material. If you have never worked
with this type of material before and want to learn how to use it: drill,
cut , clamp , and glue etc., this is perfect for you. some designs don't
even require gluing... for example make a notch and slide it in.
- If you need several
pieces of a specific size please ask. We have access to the inventory
of a local factory and they have many odd size pieces that we can get for
you. We have many sizes available and have listed the most popular ones. We
also have some smaller pieces available if you just want to cover a small
cell.

scraps that you can practice working with. Just let us know what you think
you need.
